Why it exists
Most offices already run a prediction game. It lives in a spreadsheet somebody maintains on evenings and weekends, the scoring argument restarts every round, and it quietly dies in November when that person gets busy.
BizCup is that game with the admin removed: colleagues join with a link, scoring is automatic from the official results, and the standings are settled before anyone can argue about them.
What makes it different
Departments are ranked on average points per player who actually predicted each match, not on totals. A 12-person finance team can beat a 40-person sales floor, and somebody joining in November does not drag their team down. Nobody else in this category explains — or solves — the team-size problem.
It also runs for a whole season rather than a single tournament, which is what makes it a habit instead of a two-week novelty.
Not gambling
There is no stake, no odds and no payout. Points cannot be bought, transferred or exchanged for anything. It is a game of knowledge, in the same category as a pub quiz — which is the answer legal and HR teams ask for before they approve it.
Who builds it
Pro-Sharp Hungary Zrt., a Hungarian software company, builds and runs BizCup. The service is hosted in the European Union and handles personal data under the GDPR; the data-processing terms are published in full.
